We handcraft each soap using the traditional cold process method, resulting in luxurious and nourishing bars that are gentle on your skin. We are proud to announce that we source beef fat which we render into tallow from our local farmers, ensuring our soaps are made with sustainably harvested, high-quality ingredients. We have phased out the use of palm oil, staying true to our commitment to sustainability and community support.

Our soaps are crafted with carefully selected oils, butters, pure essential oils, and natural clays, all chosen for their skin-loving properties. This meticulous process requires significant time and preparation. Once a batch is made, the soaps undergo a curing period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the water content evaporates, ensuring a long-lasting, 100% natural soap bar that is ready to be shipped to your home.

Lye, also known as Caustic Soda or Sodium Hydroxide, plays a crucial role in soapmaking, a practice that has been perfected over centuries. In the cold process method, we combine oils and lye, triggering a chemical reaction known as saponification. This reaction produces glycerin and soap, leaving no lye in the finished product. The result is a beautiful, all-natural botanical soap that cleanses and nourishes your skin with every use.

Our exceptional soap formula is crafted using only the finest, sustainably sourced oils, butters, and natural additives. Key ingredients in our soaps include Tallow, Lard, Organic Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, and Organic Castor Oil. For coloring, we use Natural Clays and ethically sourced Mineral Mica. Our soaps are scented with pure Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils that are SLS Free, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free, and Cruelty-free.  We purchase from US based companies and support our local farmers as much as possible. Our soaps are crafted without preservatives, using only 100% natural ingredients. To ensure longevity and optimal storage, please follow these guidelines:

- Allow your soap to dry between uses and use a well-draining soap dish.

- Store away from direct sunlight and humidity.

- Due to the use of pure essential oils or ethically sourced fragrance oils, the scent may fade over time if you store extra soaps for the future. However, the scent will return after the first few uses, as the outer layer loses its fragrance but the inner soap retains it.

- If your soap becomes soft, let it air dry for a day or two to allow the water to evaporate and the bar to harden again.

Store any extra soaps in a cool, dry place to ensure they remain in perfect condition for a long time. Since our soaps are preservative-free, please use them within 12 months.

We are committed to using only the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients in our products, ensuring that they are free from any harmful additives.

We ensure that the ingredients we choose are sustainably sourced and have a minimal environmental impact. Our commitment to using these carefully chosen ingredients reflects our values and we believe that their quality shines through in our luxurious products.

Babassu Oil (Orbignya Oleifera)

- Source: Extracted from the babassu palm in the Amazon rainforest.

- Benefits: Lightweight and quickly absorbed, babassu oil hydrates without leaving a greasy residue, making it ideal for all skin types, including oily and combination skin.

Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis)

- Source: Derived from castor beans, primarily grown in India.

- Benefits: A natural humectant, it draws moisture into the skin, promoting hydration while soothing and softening. It also helps create a creamy lather in soaps.

Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao)

- Source: Harvested from cocoa beans in tropical regions.

- Benefits: Packed with antioxidants, it helps to nourish, hydrate, and protect the skin while promoting elasticity. Excellent for reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera)

- Source: Extracted from the meat of coconuts, sourced from tropical regions.

- Benefits: Provides deep hydration, creating a rich, moisturizing lather. Its antibacterial properties help soothe acne-prone skin while enhancing skin softness.

Kokum Butter (Garcinia Indica)

- Source: Extracted from the seeds of the kokum tree, native to India.

- Benefits: Highly moisturizing and non-greasy, it helps repair dry and cracked skin, offering hydration without clogging pores. Suitable for sensitive and mature skin.

Lard (Pig Tallow)

- Source: Rendered from local North Carolina pig farms.

- Benefits: Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, it closely mimics the skin’s natural oils, providing deep moisturization and healing for dry or damaged skin.

Mango Butter (Mangifera Indica)

- Source: Derived from the kernels of mango fruit, mainly grown in tropical regions.

- Benefits: Rich in fatty acids, it deeply moisturizes, softens, and helps improve skin flexibility. Ideal for soothing and repairing dry or irritated skin.

Olive Oil (Olea Europaea)

- Source: Derived from olives grown in Mediterranean regions.

- Benefits: Contains antioxidants and Vitamin E, providing nourishment, reducing skin irritation, and improving skin elasticity. Excellent for sensitive and dry skin types.

Olive Oil Pomace

- Source: Extracted from the pulp left after olive oil production.

- Benefits: A lighter form of olive oil, it’s rich in vitamins and helps maintain skin moisture while providing gentle cleansing.

Palm Oil (Elaeis Guineensis) – RSPO Certified

- Source: Extracted from the fruit of the oil palm, sustainably sourced from RSPO-certified farms to ensure ethical and environmentally friendly practices.

- Benefits: Palm oil is rich in vitamins A and E and helps create a hard, long-lasting bar of soap with a stable lather. It’s a great moisturizer, promoting soft, hydrated skin without a greasy feel.

Our palm oil is responsibly sourced and certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), supporting environmental conservation and ethical farming practices.

Rice Bran Oil (Oryza Sativa)

- Source: Derived from the outer layer of rice, mainly from Southeast Asia.

- Benefits: Packed with antioxidants and Vitamin E, rice bran oil helps to soften and protect the skin, promoting a healthy glow.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)

- Source: Extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, native to West Africa.

- Benefits: Provides deep moisturization, anti-inflammatory benefits, and healing properties for dry and sensitive skin. Helps improve skin texture and elasticity.

Soybean Oil (Glycine Soja)

- Source: Extracted from soybeans, commonly grown in the United States.

- Benefits: Rich in Vitamin E, it helps to restore and maintain skin moisture, offering antioxidant protection and enhancing skin texture.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis)

- Source: Extracted from almonds, primarily grown in Mediterranean climates.

Tallow (Beef Fat)

- Source: Sourced from local North Carolina farms.
