We handcraft each soap using the traditional cold process method, resulting in luxurious and nourishing bars that are gentle on your skin. We are proud to announce that we source beef fat which we render into tallow from trusted farmers in North Carolina, ensuring our soaps are made with sustainably harvested, high-quality ingredients. We have phased out the use of palm oil, staying true to our commitment to sustainability and community support.

We render our own tallow.  We use a combination of wet and dry rendering methods to gently remove impurities and ensure a clean, nutrient-rich final product. This dual-process approach allows us to preserve the skin-loving benefits of tallow while producing a smooth, neutral base for our balms. Most brands purchase tallow from bulk suppliers. Ours comes from pasture-raised, grass-fed, grass-finished cattle, processed by hand, in small batches, with nothing removed and nothing added.

We don't cut corners on the process. No bleaching. No deodorizing. No chemical processing. No chemical stabilizers. What you get is tallow the way it was always meant to be, full nutritional integrity, straight from the source.

We make our own tallow soap bars. Our soaps are crafted with carefully selected oils, butters, pure essential oils, and natural clays, all chosen for their skin-loving properties. This meticulous process requires significant time and preparation. Once a batch is made, the soaps undergo a curing period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the water content evaporates, ensuring a long-lasting, 100% natural soap bar that is ready to be shipped to your home.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 30 days of delivery.

Because our products are made with natural ingredients like grass-fed tallow, they may soften or melt in transit, especially during warmer months.

• Melting does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product
• Melted items are not eligible for refund

• We are happy to offer a replacement if your product arrives significantly melted or compromised
• Please reach out within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

• Contact us within 7 days of delivery
• Include photos of: the product, the shipping label, the products packing, and your order number. 

We will gladly send a replacement at no cost to you

To maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene:

• We do not accept returns on used skincare products
• We do not require items to be sent back for refunds or replacements

Every product is made by hand in small batches using carefully sourced ingredients. This policy allows us to protect the integrity of our products while still caring well for every customer we serve.

If your tallow arrives soft or partially melted, don’t worry—it’s still safe to use! 

You can place it in the fridge or freezer to solidify it. 

Here is a step-by-step guide to help you revive your tallow:

• Prepare a water bath with about an inch of water
• Place the jar/container of tallow into the pot, ensuring that the water does not go over the jar's lid.
• Bring the water to a gentle boil.  As the pot heats up, the tallow inside the jar will melt completely.
• Once fully melted, carefully remove the jar from the pot.
• Transfer the tallow into a bowl.  This will make it easier to work with.
• Please the bowl with the melted tallow into a refrigerator or freezer.  Keep an eye on it! You want the tallow to cool until it's soft but not fully hardened. This step usually takes about 15-30 minutes.
• Whip the tallow using a hand mixer.  Whip until softened, tallow becomes light and fully.  The texture should resemble whipped cream.
• Rejar the tallow, transferring it back into the original container or a clear container.  It is now ready for use and should maintain its texture for future applications.

Tips:

• Prevent Future Melting: Store your tallow in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Don’t Rush the Cooling Step: If the tallow gets too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before attempting to whip it.
• Experiment with Scents: If you’d like, add a few drops of your favorite skin-safe essential oil while whipping for a personal touch!
